This Retroarch port wont/cant be taken down like that Ps1 emulator since it's built for dev mode, which is 100% allowed by MS.
They're...actually...
...I can't believe it. I can't believe that Microsoft is actually getting away with emulation in what may as well be official capacity on their systems! I seriously can't believe it! How is it possible that Sony, Nintendo, and Sega (though Sega'd do anything) aren't taking Microsoft to court for what is essentially officially allowing emulators that play their games on systems that aren't theirs!? I know this isn't by Microsoft themselves, but it is using a feature of their systems and the company's service platform, so I'm still confused how this is going to play out.
I know cross-play between two different systems with their own platforms is a popular feature these days thanks to games like Street Fighter 5, Rocket League, Fortnite (REALLY took off with Fortnite) leading the way, but this is a very different sort of collaboration compared to that!
Seeing what they're allowing, I must ask: how far is the Xbox One X capable of going? Like, would it be capable of running the Dolphin core on RA? I know I made a topic asking this question, but this really puts RA on the Xbox One and on UWP in a whole new light than I previously thought of it!
