Wargroove has finally come out and the reviews are good. It's the first Advance Wars clone on the Switch. What do those who have played it have to say about it? Does it live up to your expectations? Is there anything it could do better? How does it compare to Lost Frontier and Warbits? Are there any other comments you would like to add?

Downloaded this morning so will be on it later, looks good, like you said reviews are good

It is not the first Advance Wars clone. Tiny Metal is.

Game is fantastic.

Keeps what is loved about games it is inspired from, yet adds some nice new tweaks and mechanics.

it was so hard on default difficulty for me. I had to reduce it. great game btw.

Great game IMO. 8.5/10 I wouldn't buy it if you are expecting it to be like Fire Emblem (my 2nd love), but if you like Advance Wars (my 1st love), Dive right in. There are some serious differences... but the game is well worth it.

Also, while we're at it; 'Mecho Wars-Desert Sand' isn't bad either, it is also an Advance Wars knock-off, originally created to release on the DSi but released on IOs instead, and now again on the Switch.

IMO Tiny Metal is.... meh (6.5/10) but that's just me....(nothing to do with how it was funded either)

I didn't know I needed this game until now. Anything else like advance wars/this I should know about?

Lost Frontier is fucking great. Warbits is fun too but the main story is on the short side. I haven’t played Mecho Wars - Desert Sand or Tiny Metal.

reading this thread got me excited, but after googling it, idk how I feel about the medieval setting.
