I don't care for the game because the story is too long. That's why I don't like Fire Emblem. I just want to play and strategize. Advance Wars had the most minimal story ever.

You know you can just skip the story segments right? Same for Fire Emblem, though they really are worth reading in FE imo.

Game seems really nice ... a friend told me about it after I told him about Fire Emblem.

Loved advance wars and this seems nice as well but there is one minor thing I don't like, the Animations ... either you turn them off in the options or not ... sometimes I would like to see them but skipping them takes to long so either I turn them all off or take lots of time to skip them.
And I don't understand how star rating is applied in the campaign as I don't see any kind of requirments for each star rank and even on the 3rd or 4th stage I already only got 1 star ... no idea why.

Weird that there is hardly any talk about this here ... Advance Wars had soooo many topics back in the day and everyone loved it.... now this game goes rather unnoticed.

Just want to throw out a suggestion for final fantasy tactics on GBA for you all. I looooove advance wars 1&2, but it pales in comparison to how much time I sank into final fantasy tactics... The ability to equip and expand each individual character on the battlefield made it sooo much fun to find the best possible team (stop gunners ftw). Sank 200+ hrs and purchased 3x because of it getting stolen (never took it out of the GBA slot, so it was always the first to get nabbed)
