Long story short I pick up broken stuff and fix it. I've had a broken Pro controller laying around for a while now, the ribbon cable for the L/R/LZ/RZ buttons is torn and there's no one who makes replacements for those. I bought a fake controller half a year ago in hopes that it would have the parts I need, but while the outer shell is pretty accurate to the original, the actual electronics are all custom.
I've heard that newer fake controllers, the Smash/Xenoblade/Splatoon ones that you can pick up for around ~$25, are supposed to be a lot better than those old ones. I want to know if anyone knows more about them, and if you can, take a picture of the front assembly from the inside (This part: https://i.imgur.com/wogD4qe.jpg)

You know how to soder try repairing the break with a wire, you could also soder it directly by wiring it
It's a ribbon cable, it melts. I've tried making a makeshift button pad wired directly but it feels really shitty.

You have to use low heat 12w nothing more than 25w its just a quick touch, depending on the cable you look to do it at the two end points , those pen sticks work best
But it depends at your skill level .
Probably get away with electric tape by scraping the cable and jumping the broken trace with a cable
