if you have 3 or 6v in M92T36 and you are sure new battery was charged, it s P13USB like me.
The problem arrive with a defect original charger ( in my case ), the USB C connector was twisted or Third party charger

If you want i replace the chip :)
Thanks, I am not from USA and Europe, and I dont have 3 or 6v in M92T36.

thanks! maybe I need to change M92T36 because pin 6 does not received any volt.
It's probably shorted and shorting the whole 3v rail. Disconnect pin 6 then see if you get 3v on the board side. If you do, then m92t36 100% dead.

Hi
I am in a similar position as the op,
I have a short on the 3V rail, how can i disconnect pin 6 of the M92T36 is it a case of removing the whole chip?

Pin 6 goes directly to a nearby cap - you could remove that cap instead of removing the chip. There's a possibility that pin 6 also goes elsewhere within the board so to be certain remove the chip but first if you just remove the cap and the short goes away at least you'll have a better idea what's going on.

Thanks for the link, but that's what i have been looking at. Is there no schematics for the board as i haven't been able to find any. I think if i removed the cap close to the M92T36 and my short went away then the cap would be the issue, which would be great.
Does the pmic provide the power to this pin?

I'm not aware of any schematics for the Switch - Nintendo will of course have some but they're never going to release them of course.

Pin 6 is 3v3. Not 5v as in 92A30

Pin 5 can be between 3 & 6v depending on which line the power detector has chosen on M92T36

Yeah the 3v3 rail is where ive got the short on, I've removed M92T36 and PI3USB but short is still present.
Does the PMIC provide this power rail?
I've been looking for a datasheet on the PMIC but not had any luck.
Is it OK to inject 3v3 into this rail to see if i can find anything with heat?
