Could as well just switch to Atmosphere or Rei at this rate and install all my XCIs. But that can wait until the first game that really requires 6.2 is out, and SX OS is still not updated

I think I'm migrating to atmosphere too at this point

Not sure why SX OS users feel the need to Switch. Nothing too major requires firmware 6.2 apart from online play which is already a bad idea with a hacked console. I remember when Gateway stopped pushing out updates, I couldn't update my EmuNAND to higher firmwares to play online (since 3DS bans were exceedingly random). But then tools came out to update it and as a result, my 3DS EmuNAND is on the latest firmware without the need for B9S or Luma. Granted, those could save me from a brick much better than Gateway but I got to retain my drag-and-drop .3DS files.

Regardless if the post was a troll or not, I'd still imagine TX is working on pushing an update. But based on what several developers have said, its not easy for TX to simply update their CFW to work on firmware 6.2 without completely overhauling it. Something like that would take a long time to push out since they would have to start from scratch essentially.

AND YOU STILL WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY ONLINE WITH SUPER SMASH BROTHERS. I know there is a time dilation effect based on your age, but this is ridiculous. It's bad enough the brats act like 4 year olds not getting their way most of the time (and the anti SXOS babies are even worse).

If you want to update to 6.2 and use atmosphere / whatever- GO AHEAD. STOP FUCKING complaining about it here.

I'd hate to perpetuate rumors but that thing i keep seeing about them taking this opportunity to drop their ipatch compatible cfw and that's the only reason this would make sense. Why make big elaborate operation changes if you got nothing big to announce. It would be thoroughly unimpressive if all they dropped was a simple fix for 6.2

i'm on fw 5.1 or something while using sxos 2.0...how do i safely upgrade to 6.2 and still use sxos once this v3 is ready? is there any other way than going online? have too many xci and rips i made on it.
