Your comment about tinfoil hat is a copy paste thought that you didn't come up with yourself. Instead you're exhibiting the "monkey see monkey do" behavior or "parroting". I want to update to 6.2 right now to play online, do some game updates and stuff. Do you think it's a good idea or it's better to wait for the release before doing that ?

if you've waited this long i would just wait, you never know if it might be delayed.. besides "this week" could be any day... just better safe than sorry.

That's not a proof. He can be talking about the new forum or whatever. So mods, please, don't edit anything until there is some serious proof.

i apologize if this is not the right place to ask this, as i wasn t sure where to post and i see this thread is pretty active, thought someone could help. will my switch brick if power dies during a nand backup? I m using hekate 4.5 and this seems to be going way slower than most say it takes. I have an micro sd that is smaller than 32 gb so its doing the dump in 2gb parts and it took 5 mins to go from 0% to 1%. that seems crazy for a 2gb dump. my battery was 100% when i started its at 2% only now after around 15 mins or more and battery at 96.3%.

I don't think it will brick your switch but may not trust the back up itself and you should probably re do it

yeah I would def re dump it if that happened. I dnt have access at the moment to a larger sd card so it s going in 2gb parts. People say full dump takes an hour some people say several hours. its been almost 45 mins and its only at 4% of a 2gb part and now its at 92.7% battery. I plugged it into pc to give it a charge at least. this is kinda rediculous. no way it should be taking this long for a 2gb part of the dump. gonna take 14 or 15 parts. this shit will 2 days at this rate.

edit: just went up to 5% but luckily battery went back up to 93.6% so i guess i m good for power. Just gonna take a wk to get whole dump. lol.

God I hope it is released tomorrow or Thursday. I have a 6 hour layover in Mexico Friday morning so hoping to kill the time by drinking beer and playing Warframe
 
Wow, taking a break from working on the 'next edition' and all i see is ton of mis-information and half truths.

Out of all the posts here, there is only one TRUE FACT, we are launching soon an revamped Team-Xecuter Forums ...

Finally of course people are going to bug me on ETA for next release of SX OS, but its not something that can be rushed, it has to be fully tested on various different switches, and to make sure all of our special features work like emunand, cheat codes, etc. -- Its not as simple as other custom firmwares which don't offer any of those features intergrated into their os, and not to mention our proven feature over the last few months, direct xci loading with full emulation of cartridges

Could as well just switch to Atmosphere or Rei at this rate and install all my XCIs. But that can wait until the first game that really requires 6.2 is out, and SX OS is still not updated
