Unless they inexplicably were exploit hunting in Falcon without it ever having previously been used or needed, or somehow happened upon nVidia's signing keys, they don't have jack shit.

I am currently on 6.2.0 , I have no emunand or SX OS set up yet , could I some how manually create an emunand on the sd cArd using my 6.1.0 back up so that I can boot sx os loader and boot cfw using emunand 6.1.0,if someone knows the exact steps on how to create an emunand could they explain thanks

According to Scires, it may be a long wait before we get homebrew on 6.2.

If they don't manage to defeat TSEC (and according to him it's a considerable possibility , then they will rely on userland exploits (thus beginning the game of cat and mouse with Nintendo patching exploits every new firmware)

Restore backup, boot to sx payload, setup EmuNAND.

Yes, going to eShop requires to update OFW. And I also have to be on the latest OFW to play online I think

And that is why we need a full CFW: a modified / reimplemented version of Horizon that we can install from autorcm without all these security limitations.

Both are probably viable options. But you can also downgrade to 6.1.0 (but you would have to boot always boot through RCM).

I did that just don't like the sleep mode part (and losing all my saves(I backed up 6.2 so I can go back to that when it's hacked))

Yes. But now he needs to boot through RCM even if he wants to boot to OFW.

Still be careful, though. I read here yesterday that Nintendo was pushing the 6.2 update even to superbanned console, probably just trying to put the cherry on top of your banned console. Better be safe than sorry.

Well, so as for now if accidentally some1 updates to 6.2 could run emunand.
The problem I see in the future games is that nintendo can make games "stick" to certain firmware, I mean, perhaps just calling certain code funcions that won´t be in older versions and that would make game crash, even if you tinfoil them.
Am I OK?

Most likely not, it should be blocking nintendo servers but flight mode is recommended. In any case it always shows you dialog message if you want to update, it is not automatic (but it´s easy to accidentally click yes)

My switch auto updated to 6.2.0 when i put it in the dock before leaving for work.
