Yes for Homebrew, no for the Nintendo folder which content is encrypted with your Switch's specific keys.

unless you're also switching to a different Switch unit or you're resetting your system you can also move the Nintendo folder to a new SD card without any issues.

Sorry, I've spoken too hastily, moving the Nintendo folder to a new one for the same Switch should work (same keys) but it will not work with another unit.

And move the nintendo folder for the same but updated switch? Yesterday I had the fw 5 with sx os, today i want to update the switch and put the emunand with the last firmware. Copy/past the nintendo folder works?

This didn't work for me. Copying the nintendo folder from one SD card to another and placing it in the same switch didn't work. It said I still needed to install the files.

Is these another folder than contains this install information?

edit: I chose not to overwite any files when transferring between nintendo folders. Could this be the issue?

Can you say which directory in the Nintendo folder has the install information? I don't want to overwrite anything by accident...
All of it. Take note that you'll not be able to "merge" the installed content of multiple SD cards.

Idk about the rest of you but why when I begin to transfer, there's currently a "00" file that stalls the transfer. What am I doing wrong?
