Did you download and install any update .NSP files for Xenoblade for your console?
Hmmm this is how I did things.

-Got Xenoblade 2, installed official update online.
-Days later I got new SD, moved my xci there, told me to update, can't play.
-Got NPS Update but I still can't play since it's not the newest one.

I think I found latest update but it made me wonder why I can play the updated game in one SD and the newer one I can't if my update was supposedly installed in my system :(

Either you would look for the keys.txt online (they are copyrighted so they cannot be shared here, even through PM) or you can generate them with another homebrew application named kezplez. More specifically, I am referring to shchmue's fork since it is more stable and works on higher firmwares.

Also I would say you have a greater chance of being struck by lightning than breaking/destroying the console by installing a .XCI game

Outside of dumping the update/downloading it from online then installing it into the second console, you can try following this tutorial to share the update from one Switch to another: https://gbatemp.net/threads/match-v...going-online-on-cfw-need-two-switches.509395/

Whats the difference between installing xci to NAND and SD Card?? I can place games onto my sd card via windows.. lol so? nand is system sdd yes?

I have one final suggestion. Make a backup of the entire SD card that doesn't work, or at least the Nintendo folder, and copy the Nintendo folder from the SD card that works onto the one that doesn't work.

NAND is your internal system memory while SD card is...your SD card. Games are slightly faster when installed into the internal memory and games installed into the SD card will only launch when the SD card is inserted, but outside of that, there are no other differences between the two.

  1. .XCI files do not have tickets. They work without them
  2. Using Data Management by pressing + on the icon from the Home Screen or from System Settings

Prodinfo is stored the eMMC SYS partition which the rawnand is comprised of (rawnand also includes the eMMC USER partition).

Yes, PRODINFO can be found in your rawnand.bin. If you're extra paranoid, you can back it up with the ReiNX toolkit which is referred to as Cal0, but you can extract PRODINFO from your rawnand.bin

I am paranoid and i will backup it once more with ReiNX toolkit in this case haha. better safe then sorry.

Thanks for the quick responce Draxzelex, as always i appreciate it :)

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
