Hacking Completely new to the sciene and willing to get a switch

As the title said am willing to have one i could get one with 4.0.1fw if i remember correctly , so i wanted to know is it hackable? Does the firware matter?
Also what is the difference between sxpro and r4s that r4s is far cheaper
What is important for me is to play games and if there are cheats i'd love it
So what do you guys suggest?

The most important difference between the two is that SX Pro comes with an SX OS license, allowing you to use SX OS' paid features, namely the XCI loader. The R4S is meant to run community-released payloads, so you'd probably use it with something like ReiNX. With the community CFWs, you can still install NSP games, but you cannot run XCI titles, as the only publicly available XCI loader is the one from SX OS. You can convert XCI to NSP, though.

The Switch you'll buy is probably going to be patched, in which case you can't hack it (yet). However, an exploit called Deja Vu, which works on firmware 4.1.0, will be released eventually. So you might want to get one, and if it's patched, stay on 4.1.0.

If I was you have a good read at all the sticky threads and that will tell you what you want to know. Tbh it’s a mind field to help explain and understand to someone new like yourself so either some good member who has plenty of time may explain deeper but if not yes read the stickys and digest information and then move forward.

everything from 1.0.0 to latest and greatest 6.0.0 is hackable,make sure you dont get a patched version of the console.

they are compatible with all regions consoles,but make sure to get the first 8 digits serial number if you buying online or go to physical store an take a look at serial number b4 buy it.

As for SX OS, (as a buyer of it) i suggrest to not buy it. Their mod is easy to use and "plug and play" but not really worth the price. Open Sources CFW are getting better and better, and they already topped it.
I got SX OS just cause it could run xci other than nsp, but now i found myself using more nsp than xci.

Noob Paradise in the Exploits section would be the first place to start.

Waiting around instead of reading might lead to missed/old/wrong info and a bricked Switch. Research.

Surprised no one asked this yet but is it new or used? You never specified.
If it's new it's most likely iPatched as some people have said but if it's used it most likely isn't.
