So. Apart from the bad solder that did not allow you to use it well. (Let's hope it is not a recurring issue). How well does it perform?
Yeah mine was soldered pretty good, it works incredibly well for me. After getting the driver installed it just worked in my experience.

I have autorcm now so I shutdown fully from it a few times to test the device and I just plug it in, power it on then press power on my switch and boom, boots reiNX.

So mine is faulty cause it doesn't work like it would be intented to work. My usb c port didn't work but installing the programmer and getting it connected through usb mini worked flawlessly. So I tried connecting the dongle through usb mini instead of the usb c port that's on the dongle and magically that port worked instead of the usb c one. That is not the way it's intented to work so I contacted the guy and he's sending me a new one because I got more sales according to him so that is pretty generous. In the mean time I guess I'll be using it through the usb mini port with a usb c adapter. It works so yeah, if anybody else comes across this problem well try the usb mini port I guess.

UPDATE: Updated the main post with the info I just told

They dont appear to speak ENglish, or they're just very rude. Does yours show in device manager as NS-ATMOSPHERE (COM3) as per the instructions?

Because mine just shows as USB serial device (COM3)

Most AliExpress sellers don't speak or understand English. They rely on Google Translate heavily and that's why dealing with them can often be a nightmare.

The original main seller from the link I posted talks English better then most people do actually so yeah. Conversation I had with the seller because mine was faulty. He's a really nice guy to deal with

I bought it from that same seller. I hope I don't have any issue when it arrives as I don't have solder or any other means to try to fix it in my current place.

yeah hopefully it will go well for you but if you have the same problem as I did well you can also push payloads through the usb mini port. I asked Rasa39 who already had the dongle and it works through usb mini with her/his 2 as it does with mine

Firs the said send it back and ill replace it, then I asked if he will pay shipping and he said dont send it back, he'll just send another, but wants me to buy it then he'll refund me, minus a dollar

Just an idea, if someone has a usb c not working you could use a usb a to mini + usb a to c cable to get it working (I know it's stupid but most people have a usb c cable cable).

My ns-atmosphere thingy just arrived. It's tiner and less bulky than I expected. The overall quality is good, it doesn't feel cheap in the hands. It works, does the job as expected. The jig slot in the dongle is very handy.

yeah I thought exactly the same when mine arrived. It does look way smaller then on the pictures

I've received my NS-atmosphere dongle today, and i'm having trouble with the software. I installed it and opened the program but clicked the wrong COM port. The program threw an error and doesn't want to start up anymore. I've tried uninstalling it with revo and reinstalling it but without any succes. After i install the program and leave the launch after finish button checked, nothing happens. The drivers installed just fine.
Anyone got an idea how i can open the software again?

edit: Got it, there was a key in my registry that wasn't deleted. After deleting it was fine.
