Is it perfect or near perfect? Or is the N64 and everdrive the way to go?

If you don't mind playing games at 8fpsYou can get an n64 emulator for retronx now.
Parallel64 is also on Switch.@sergio_prado Yes, I know that one. I just wanted somebody else to mention it for me!
wii64 had pretty bad compatibility though if you really want near 100% compatibility everdrive will always be the answer even pc emulators struggle on certain gamesThanks. Im just now starting to try this stuff. I had previously Wii64 on the Wii and Im trying out some games(NWO REVENGE) and I get black screens most of the time..and I dont know how to exit to save properly.. So i dont know what setting i am doing or if its all random
is that a homebrew app too? are there any downsides to using it vs retro nx?If you want good performance, you can use lakka.tv (linux) which runs at good speeds. Afaik it runs gamecube too.
You need to launch it through one of the many linux loading payloads. You cannot boot it from Horizon, or SX menu.is that a homebrew app too? are there any downsides to using it vs retro nx?
thank you for clarifying! i think ill try retroNX first because the 2d stuff like GBA and SNES seem to run well i heardYou need to launch it through one of the many linux loading payloads. You cannot boot it from Horizon, or SX menu.
The downsides are you have to be at a pc everytime you want to launch it (unless you have a custom payload launcher/dongle). Also, it can cause issues with the screen.
RetroNX, since it runs through hbmenu, has no hardware acceleration (for the time being), thus if you want a playable emulator, lakka.tv is the best way to go.
