Team-Xecuter Announces SX OS v1.6 with 'Stealth Mode' and More

Team-Xecuter is back again updating their SX OS
SX16.jpg

Their update v1.6 introduces something new and cool called 'Stealth Mode' which you can read all about, below in their official TX announcement:
Today, we are releasing version 1.6 of SX OS. This update addresses two important things pertaining compatibility and safety. (Two key elements on our priority list)

Lets have a look at what's new!
  • Add support for 32GB XCI files (Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and 2)
It came to our attention that 32GB XCI files were not working with SX OS. Since game compatibility is high up there on the priority list of Team Xecuter, we investigated this issue and are happy to report this has been resolved. You can now enjoy these content-packed bigger games like Dragon Quest Heroes!
  • Introducing Stealth Mode
Stealth Mode is our solution to prevent console bans. In SX OS v1.6 and onwards this feature will be enabled by default.
    • You can still disable Stealth Mode from the TX menu if you really wish to do so, however we do not recommend this (unless your Switch is already banned).
    • With Stealth Mode enabled your Switch system is not able to send any Switch personal information to Nintendo's servers while still allowing basic Internet functionality (for eg homebrew). Things like local WiFi play is also still possible!
    • Keep in mind Stealth Mode is only active when you are running SX OS! If you occasionally boot back into original Switch firmware you may expose yourself to a ban risk if you have modified your Switch system by installing NSP titles for example, so we do not recommend this!
    • Playing XCI titles in SX OS with Stealth Mode enabled should NOT get you banned when booting/using your original Switch firmware online. This is why we personally prefer our Game Cartridge emulation solution, and so should you! ;-)
We are working on a solution to allow a clean separation between the SX OS system and your original Switch firmware. Stay tuned!
Enough chit-chat, enjoy this fine release. And keep an eye out for what's yet to come!

Doesn't looks that easy to me, people who use sx os, they use it because it's easier to use.
SX OS is literally the same as other CFWs. ReiNX comes with everything you need in an sd file package. Minor things you want , like specifically a gba emulator, is when you have to do searching. Perhaps the big pictures of the GUI of SX OS makes you feel safe, but it's really just the same as any other CFW but with xci loading. If you want proof of the stolen code, read through the beginning of this thread.

That's like saying a Lada is the same as a Lambo.

I wish the other CFW implemented XCI loading, since it seems the safest way for backup loading, I was fine until NSP came along :'(
Weird. It's almost like there's an echo in here.

No, really, it was blatantly obvious that this was the safer of the two.

The vast majority of bans listed with SX OS have also messed with layeredfs, installed nsp or played online with illegitimate xci certs.

If you filter the results down to people who have used SXOS offline + only used xci + updated games on ofw (no layered fs, nsp) then you get 3 banned (whose data is incomple/inconsistent) and 104 unbanned.
Exactly!

I've used Homebrew apps(save editor Mostly for Zelda), and haven't gotten banned at all, first time was like in July, Just homebrew are low risk
Have you heard of banning waves?

Allow you to continue update the firmware to play games that require higher ones ?

I was waiting from emunand, but now i will update to the latest firmware that Diablo 3 will require.

Ok, longtime lurker, second post in almost 10 years, haha.

Anyways, I'm curious about some things here.
So, my situation is I'm running SX OS on a Switch that never had a game played on it prior to installing SX OS, I only updated it with OFW once prior to cfw installation as well, and its been in Airplane mode since.

I'm now understanding that NSP files are not exactly "safe" and I'm wondering if there is a way to completely wipe all evidence of their use, better yet, ALL of my cfw usage, in case I ever need to connect to Nintendo servers for some reason down the road without getting my Switch banned. I know there are log files that contain my shenanigans, red nsp flags, etc, can those be cleared and/or anything else that needs to be done to cover my tracks? I know that clearing logs, or messing with things in general, might also lead to a ban...for the average use scenario, but I'm thinking that I might be cool since, according to Nintendo, I only updated the ofw months ago, nothing before or since(if I can, in fact, actually be able to scrub it clean, obvs).

Is this doable, or am I just stuck with a Switch that will get banned when/if i ever try to connect to their servers, regardless?

Sx Os keeps getting better. They just need Emunand and usb hard drive support and were gonna be doing alright.

If you didn't make a NAND backup before hacking, your stuck waiting on a tool that would do such a thing. The closest thing to make a clean NAND is running ChoiDujourNX but it'll only replace the firmware update files.
Can you download updates with stealth mode activated?
You cannot download anything Nintendo-related in Stealth Mode.

Nintendo classified all their users. If you have never bought any games on the eShop, you are flagged as 'first to walk the plank pirates'. They won't hesitate to ban you, since you never bought anything and never will.
