Homebrew [Help]FBI won't install any cia file

Hi, I am running a newly set up, latest up to date old 3ds from the 3ds hacks guide. I was able to install a few cia files, but now FBI won't install any - I have tried many different cia files and I get the same result each time. I am not sure what caused this.
I have tried using google already, and I didn't really get any helpful results.

What are you trying to install specifically?

I have tried to install devmenu, fantasy life, mario kart 7, and yokai-watch 2. All from different sites

Might just be a bad dump of the games, try looking at other websites for cia. FBI latest build is version 2.50, I assume that is what you are using.

Yes, I have tried that. Have used different sites for the games, and tried 2 different cias for fantasy life. It seems to be a issue with my 3ds and not the cias.

I have also tried to install the pokemon mini cia from this forum, and that also didn't work. So it really seems to be my 3ds

okay do this, might be a problem with your nand, since you are on CFW, just do a CTR NAND transfer to 9.2 and then update to 11.8. I assume you only recently started with CFW, any recent NAND backup before this happened?

Probably just do the CTR Transfer, update to 11.8. Restoring the nand you have probably won't solve it if it recently. After restoring do the last step in the 3ds.hacks.guide tutorial

Is it the one you made when you set up CFW? Did you installed games prior to making the nand backup?

Something happened to your nand , just to note, doing the CTR Transfer meaning you are starting off with a clean nand.

Have you ever checked if your (empty) SD card is fake using H2testw in a Full Write + Verify test?

No I haven't. I don't believe it would be fake because I bought it at a big retail store person. It's a PNY 32gb sd card. Should I still test?

Retail store could sell fake stuff, good idea to test the SD card since it is giving you problem.

Yes, please. Counterfeiters are sneaky sons of bitches. They can and will pollute the supply chain even to those that make it to retail stores.

No, test it with the content on it.
