Hello, I have two nintendo switches. One with sx pro and one that I plan to keep legit for online games.

I'm awaiting mhgx release and once thats out, I'm going to download a save file or edit a downloaded save. Now I'm going to do that on my sx pro console with a legit game cart while keeping the console offline.

I'm wondering if it's possible to download it to my sx pro switch while keeping it offline. Then to transfer that save file to my legit stock nintendo switch. Maybe I have to associate my nintendo account with it as well to transfer from my sx pro switch to my stock switch but is there any way to do this all offline? If it's possible then there should be no risk of ban to both consoles.

The SX one, and possibly the stock one.

The console gets flagged because the system still knows you are running cfw, and when you go online again it sends the systems logs to Nintendo, which then lets them see that you are using CFW and can ban you.
(I assume this is what happens, if not it is something similar)

Don't make assumptions and spread misinformation. It is 100% unknown how they are detecting things right now.

You're asking if you can load a modified save file into a legit switch and then play online/offline with it?

Is this a serious question?

If so, no you cannot. You need a way to load the save file onto the clean switch, the only way is via HB (as far as I know) and even if there was another way, your placing a dirty save onto a clean switch...super duper risky

Hello guys, I have almost the same problem, here's the situation :

- I have 2 clean brand new Switch
- I have a Zelda save (played with a cartridge that I bought) extracted with Checkpoint from another 3rd Switch using Atmosphere (always been offline)
- I want to have 1 clean switch to play online on which I have my Zelda save (too many hours invested ^^)

Here is what I plan to do, knowing that I absolutely don't care if Switch n°1 is banned but I want to keep Switch n°2 clean :

Solution 1 :
- Update Switch n°1 to 6.2.0, install Atmosphere and load Zelda save with Checkpoint
- Reboot to OFW and play Zelda with the cartridge and save again (don't know if that helps ??)
- Upload save to Nintendo Cloud
- Recover save on Switch n°2

Solution 2 :
- Update Switch n°1 to 6.2.0, install Atmosphere and load Zelda save with Checkpoint
- Reboot to OFW and play Zelda with the cartridge and save again (don't know if that helps ??)
- Transfer account from Switch n°1 to Switch n°2

What do you guys think about that ? Is there some datas in the save telling that it was played on a CFW (knowing again that I own the game) ?

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:

still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds

It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
