Homebrew DSi - Downgrading 1.4.5E to 1.4E help!

I want to downgrade my dsi to 1.4E... And yes, I have flipnote studio (glad I do)... So, I need to downgrade my DSi because my R4i 1.4 just won't let me upgrade in ANY way! So... if I downgrade with ugopwn on my european console, will it brick? Or, at least, can I install cfw on my european console, one site says (usa only) and one site (which is simillar) doesnt say (usa only) at all! Will cfw or downgrading brick my European console?

there is no need to downgrade. install HiyaCFW and you should be able to run the cart even if its blocked on 1.4.5.
follow https://dsi.cfw.guide/, its for all regions.

No problem. i have an old acekard 2 that just boots into an error on my 1.2 DSi, but on the one with hiya it works great so i believe it should work fine

I have one more question and this one is dumb. Do I need to tap things in the touchscreen? Not that my touchscreen isn't working, just asking.

yeah, you need it mostly for the flipnote hack part

Oh ok! Then I'll try it on my other dsi which has the touchscreen working but... the L and R buttons don't work... Will I need them? Because, everytime I blow them, the dsi battery goes cuckoo for 1 hour!

Uh oh! Looks like my dsi went cuckoo already! Welp my other dsi touchscreen WORKS but not perfectly. Luckily for me, all the video edit buttons on flipnote studio work! I hope I won't need to touch the touchscreen on any other app than flipnote studio!

So I made progress up to step 13 and now there's 2 white screens... I did ALL the steps correctly up to this point...
I can't even power down! Thanks Barawer, I've bricked one of my favourite consoles thanks to YOU! You said it'll work, YOU fix it!

I don't want to sound rude with you, but this dude is already kind trying to help you, if you mod or crack your console, it's your responsability if a brick happen, not his.

Don't speak like that to anyone dude, not cool.

(Sorry for double-posting) So, the problem is that whenever I enter flipnote and do all the right thingies, I get a white screen of death and it takes 7 seconds to power down... I'll do it again but this time NO mistakes...

(Bet I will get banned from triple posting) Results: Everything went fine untiil Step 13 (Unlaunch) Yes there is an ugopwn folder and yes I CAN do the (eur) method but... after I erase and paste, I get a white screen instead of the homebrew!
No it didn't brick, my console's still fine

You know what; I'll stop dealing with this mess of confusing garbage...
I have 6 things to do (I will do one)
-Attempt to upgrade my R4i for the last time
-Buy a new R4i somehow
-Buy a perfect condition ds lite (since they are super cheap)
-Send my R4i or my dsi xl to a technician
-Give up and play other consoles like the PS3 or the 3DS...
-Continue being an idiot on GBAtemp

Sounds like you don't have a boot.nds on your SD card.

Weeelp, i DID have it but... I'm unlucky! Nothing works when I do it! Even if I do it 100% correctly, NOOO Jim must be unlucky... same with the R4i...

Besides, I have DS roms on my laptop!! Why would I need them to play them on an actual ds just for the experience?
