He didn't get banned, he was getting an error with trying to go online with a game that didn't have a header. Meaning either he didn't inject a header or he injected one and it still wasn't working based off of v1.0

Mmm i mean, i dont want to start a discution about that, but i think he did playe online. This is what that person said:

"So how it get started? When xecuter came out, everyone could play online backups for a few hours. I played few Splatoon 2 Online matches. Now Nintendo has introduced an anti piracy system
which detects the backup to prevent online play"

So what im trying to say is, we can play online (maybe not anymore) without a header. Anyway, doesnt matter anymore with v1.1

Btw, does FS allows the same as 1.1?

Tutorial is very easy:
Put your gamecard to switch and Get game CERT through WAIN Dumper and import it to any backup by XCI Explorer and enjoy multiplayer.
Im used Zelda cert to Splatoon 2 and its working \o/
btw. im not responsible for potentiall bans.

So... you are playing online on a certificate from a game that does not support online. This is BAN material... imminent.

Maybe OP got something mixed up. In fact, he had to amend his first post after he got the error message wrong so who knows how much else was true outside of the video.

Okay! Confirmed this works! I just tried it out.

You ONLY need 1 cartridge game. Then just import that cert into your online game, and enjoy. I used super bomberman certification to activate Rocket League.

It will probably result in a ban in the future, but it's a back up game anyways. It works in the meantime.

I've bought it on online-trends.net via bitcoin received in 1 hour. But right now they'll not send the key, just tomorrow.

Are you that stupid? Seriously if your cert gets banned then YOU are banned. Not just the game.

This is probably about as stupid as going online with LayeredFS.

We know it sends the app data to the server in token authorization. This is like the easiest stupidity-net they can cast to catch every bad actors.

They don't even need to ban right away, just let people do this and out themselves.

That might work but it isn't safe because the certificate contains game specific information. So Nintendo could detect that you have injected the header of a different game.

Your premise seems unlikely as that would mean they would have to store every game header future wise and present in the wild all on there servers just to cross check with in every case the console connects to them. A lot of games don't directly use the online service neithere any of its competitors like the Xbox do eithere in most cases but rather act as a redirect portal to specific servers owner by the game creators/game ip owners.

A great example of this is the recent splatoon 2 ban of users from there server but not from the Nintendo services at all. Just limiting them from playing multiplayer.

No, SciresM already stated that when you use a header that does not match with the title that is requesting online access, it automatically creates a mismatch as a flag. Nintendo does not need to have a database of all the possible certificates if they can just implement a check to see if they match to begin with.
