So as many people have noticed the 3DS JAP version of this won't come to the US nor anywhere else. They just announced through a nintendo article a couple of months back, and i'm pretty sure people on here read that article and know about this but like i've stated a WHILE back that the game doesn't really have a possibility chance of coming here(i stated it in a different way somewhere in the countless of comments on one post someone has made a while back) and i knew THIS would happen sadly. It made me feel depressed that i couldn't even have the game come over to the US and worse is that no one still hasn't even given the game a chance to translate at all. I don't really know why to be honest o - o..if someone DOES know why no one won't really translate this game please do tell me and if it's for the reason of it "coming over here" yeah..that got shot down already. Cause not only it won't come over here they are making another one only for the nintendo switch and it's a whole new different game -sigh-..why q n q"..

Anyway as you can tell from the title itself i am willing to retry this topic and give it a chance to see if anyone is really willing to english patch this game for me and well for every stinking person who wants it to be translated in english. IF anyone has any useful information on the english patch or etc than please DO tell me. I've been wanting to play this game ever since it was announced q o q..waited patiently.

Finally you're gonna ask (whomever makes this comment i'm bluntly gonna delete it -_- sick and tired of seeing that type of comment it's annoying like..dude IF the person KNEW how to do it than why would they make a long post ASKING for people to do it for them? Please do NOT confuse us people who cannot do this type of work with those who do know how to do it but our lazy not to do it and rather use others who know how to do it. To do it for them.) 'Why don't you do it yourself?' I CAN'T why do you think i've made a post like this? If i would don't you think i would've BEEN done it lol.

But like i've said on here that's IF anyone is willing to take my request. Thanks for reading.

In short words if you can translate the game to english. Hopefully that makes sense e_e...

Actually Snack World Gold for Switch is the same game just with some improvements (better combat, all dlc included), so all hope of a official English version of Snack World isn't lost yet. It's rumored to get a localization later this year or early next year.
I also really want to play Snack World so I have my fingers crossed for a E3 announcement.

Glad you said it is the same game, I thought it was but I can't say Snack World is really on my radar, I feel like I read Level-5 want to localize everything? or at least most games, that may not mean the 3DS version in this case, I could see it being a Switch only thing.

Though I do recall the 3DS version having folders for various localization's though, English, French etc, but no actual files, but I wouldn't hold out hope for 3DS, the lack of Generations Ultimate coming to 3DS has me dubious about trying to support 2 platforms at once, especially when Level-5 have said they are moving onto the Switch.

On the note of a Translation though, I believe the Kuriimu Suite of Tools supports all the formats that the 3DS version of the game uses so there is that.

Yeah inserting English text into the game is actually very easy using Kuriimu, I've actually tried doing it.
It's just very time consuming when you don't know Japanese and have to rely on Google Translate :P

See there that's the thing. Ive heard about the program tried using it to test it out but..I don't know how to use it at all and ive tried searching for a tutorial nothing. I think there is a tutorial by now for it? Cause when I was looking for the tutorial on how to use it..was around the time the program was released o w o;;..ha..yeah. But I can't really use the program either way cause I won't be able to translate the game using only google translate..that would be a disaster. That's why I really wish and want someone to actually translate the game to help me out. Maybe if someone does help and do it (I don't know squat crap about Japanese language just the basic knowledge. Never learned it) it would be much more easier for me to do the rest and getting the game on an English patch ;u;! But like I said before I'm a noob on this type of work..that's why I leave it to people who know more than me.

Also...I don't own a switch..another reason. I'm a 3ds user basically handheld and YES I know the switch is handheld but yeh. Don't have the money for that type of console. And don't assume that I can get a job easily and get the system easily. Not everything in life is easy it's fuckin hard living the way I am right now. And the only reason I own a 3ds is because of my friend she didn't want it and gave it to me. So yeh..I wish I could but I can't right now..money problems screw people over :/

Anywhoo enough of me rambling on. I just hope someone helps me out here. Not truing to imply either of you didn't help. No, you guys seriously helped by just commenting and stating some good advice. Thank you.

Actually, Kuriimu is pretty easy to use, but you are right, you can't translate the whole game using Google Translate. To be honest, i try to translate the game miself, but i recently start to study japanese (on my own) so mi knowledge is less than basic. But it is a project to translate the game, you can find it on github: https://github.com/jmanplaysgames/SnackWorldTextTranslation

I think you missunderstood, the translation project on github is not of my own, i just found it on github when i was trying to translate the game miself, and i found this.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I translate other menu stuff that are not translated on the github project, compile it and use it for my own, that's all.
