Other than that I don't really have a routine.
I am one of the apparently very annoying people that can open my eyes, jump immediately out of bed, stick some clothes on and be out of the door in 30 seconds all bright and cheerful for the day ahead, almost regardless of the amount of sleep I have had. If I am up at 4am I found I need to eat if I am going to be in a vehicle or I fall asleep at about 8am/first convenient opportunity.
I have a lot of books by my bed, also in my room, also on just about every other flat surface I have. So I might read one of them. Got a laptop on the bed so sometimes read books on that. My other computer is opposite my bed and if it is on I have a media remote control I can use to play videos.
Drinks wise I sorted that years ago -- usually have a bunch of 2l bottles filled with squash around the place. Also solves the problem of spilling as well as it tasting like arse after having left it exposed to air all night.
