Do you realise there are people here who earn like $5-$50 a day, living in eastern Europe, Mexico, or Brazil for example? And the retail price of video game stuff is not lowered to compensate for average wage or living costs or anything? Your personal experience isn't universal - don't make assumptions.

The work he does is not going to mean he can afford $300. I know someone here working in I.T. in a highish level position only earning like $20 a day, and with a family with several kids to provide for.

Nope. I am paying my maid only $7 a day, that's slavery, cooking and cleaning all day, plus she has 3 kids to support, and deadbeat man of hers.

But then I am paying here more monthly overall than police are getting from govt., that is a scary thought. - legal gun, and poor with blue power, so they are corrupt as hell.

Ask any of those, if they can afford to play Switch or even get games, forgot it, they still loving a DS with R4 card!

300 isn't hard to come by for me. I guess I make a lot more money than most of you guys. And yes I have a child, wife, mortgage, car payments, credit card payments and bills up the wazoo

Take me for example. I'm quite skilled IT specialist, managing alone over 30 PC's, four servers, SQL Databases for local trading solution (Nestle & Wrigley Distribution company), countless tablets. Salary is just about 500 USD per month. Also, three kids eating out my back)
So yes, slavery, but I can't complain. The world is long gone from perfect and I know a hundred places with even worse situation.
