How do I install Beyond: Two Souls as 7-Part PKG?

Ive dowbloaded this game thrpugh PsNDl and its on parts how should I install this

Im on the ps3xploit v3 and can use pkglinker but how should i install it one by one or should i need to merge it into 1 pkg?? HELP

You can do that in MultiMan... You transfer the folder with the pkg files in it? Should merge.

you can install pkgs bigger than 4gb using pkglinker, connect your pc and ps3 with an ethernet cable and follow the instructions in the troubleshooting tab of the next link

just follow the next tutorial for whatever you decide to do. also, han doesn't support the installation of any ps3 homebrew so you can't use multiman.

For anyone who is unaware, PSNDL/NDS Browser has this game split in 7 pkg parts.

The total download is around 32GB in size.

There is some kind of bug in ps3xploit resigner V2.0 where the signing process on part 1 gets hung and ends up creating a 35+ GB *signed file from the first part.

I've tried signing each part individually, I've tried joining the parts using binary file combiners, I've tried to sign one part at a time, basically everything I can think of and it seems that the tools currently available for PS3Xploit V3 just can't do multi-part pkg files (so this cuts out Yakuza 6, God of War: Ascension, Beyond Two Souls, and a bunch of other games)

As for Ni No Kuni, that game is only 2 parts and if you sign and install each one separately the game works great. Other than that game, I have not successfully been able to get any other multi-part game I've tried to install correctly.

But no luck for me; it fails to join the 7 PSN parts. If you come to a resolution I'd be very interested to know. I'm at a point where I've pretty much given up on installing any game via PS3Xploit that is split into multiple parts.

i feel pkg merge only supports ps4 pkgs "A tool to merge parts of a PS4 PKG into one entire PKG file"

ill try using this tool and another different guide:

and this one

1. Download PS3 Tools Collection 2.3.15 from Aldo Vargas website: http://www.aldostools.org/ps3tools.html
2. Install PS3 Tools
3. Right click on pkg's you want to merge and select "Extract PS3 PKG here...", in my case all 3 pkg's install, update 1.01 and fix
4. Copy whole update folder to game install folder and after copy fix folder to game install folder.
(fix always have to come last, so copy updates dlc's to game install folder first)
5. Now when your folder is ready to roll right click on it and select "Make PKG".
6. When its done you can name it as you like and keep your HDD clean.

try it out too so that both of us might get different results
