During today's Nintendo Direct, the company announced a remake for the GameCube classic, Luigi's Mansion. The game will launch later this year for 3DS, and will offer a boss rush mode. The map will now be on the bottom screen of the 3DS to show where you are.

not really they will probably just make the game control like dark moon.

still pissed hd luigis mansion didnt arrive on switch and went for 3ds worst decision ever, same with samus returns not going for the switch either...

they already had a engine for that game on 3ds becuase of dark moon so making it for 3ds is much easier

Maybe this release is to judge if there's is enough interest in a sequel to Dark Moon. I personally don't have a switch yet, I can't really justify the purchase since I have most games on the WiiU, but Luigis Mansion 3 (Haunted World - an open world BOTW style game where the entire world becomes an infested graveyard/wasteland lol!) would make me buy the console. That and Odyssey.

dark moon is preety crappy becuase of what they did with the mansion, going in with level based mansion was preety bad, also the appeal of the first luigi mansion was a metroidvania type of gameplay, open world would be preety bad since it would loose all the metroidvania appeal it had.

I agree that the level thing is bad but I don't think dark moon was bad... despite the level thing I enjoyed it a lot

Apparently when a new system is out, automatically the old console is throw to the trash and they say cannot play with whorse graphics when the new toy sometime drops the resolution into certain game in a 720 screen...
