sys-hdr - Static tonemapper for Switch
Note: No screenshot will ever do justice to how good this looks on a real console, so try it.
Features:
- Tonemapping with various methods for both handheld and docked.
- Seperation between handheld and docked profiles
- Simple UltraHand overlay for control
- Customization for parameters of algorithms
- Works globally across all apps and homebrew
- HDR calibration tool to easily calibrate it for your displays
Some notes however:
- Tonemapping is still basic and needs a lot of improvement (Particularily with Reinhard)
- sys-HDR is incompatible with Fizeau due to how it works. They cannot be used together without interfering with each other
- sys-HDR is NOT a adaptive tonemapper due to memory constraints
- Tonemapped output cannot be screenshotted due to technical reasons, and sysDVR will not output the tonemapped image.
- This is different from Fizeau in the sense that Fizeau doesn't adjust the underlying curve, it just offsets it, so you can't say "make dark parts darker", only "make the whole image darker". I would be open to working with averne to integrate this with Fizeau however!
Color Pop Preset:
ACES
exposure: 0.62
white point: 5.50
expand: 0.42
contrast: 1.01
Subtle Preset::
Hable
Exposure 1.45
White Point 4.60
Expand 0.74
Contrast 1.01
