Is it possible to edit the save data of Wii Sports to allow us to swap Mii stats to another?
Basically, I have two Wiis and want to transfer everything from one to the other. The only thing blocking me from doing so is that WIi Sports just straight up deletes your save data if the Mii is no longer present.
Here's what happened:
- I went in save game manager gx, exported all my miis and all my saves
- Went on the other wii, imported everything
- Save data is imported, but now miis aren't editable
- Edit mii's console id with MyAvatarEditor (or even using HxD)
- Mii can be edited now, but Wii sports recognises it as a new mii (thus all save data tied to it is gone)
- Tried editing the hex of the wii sports save (RPSports.dat) and found all the instances of the old console id and replaced them with the new ones
- Game save data is corrupted
I tried searching everywhere online but the conlusion just comes to accepting the mii's won't be editable or accepting your save data gone, and I was wondering if there was a way to make it work.
Extra info (would like to have it resolved):
- all my saves either properly transferred (didn't use miis), or the games allowed me to replace the "missing" mii
- Wii Sports deletes the save since they are technically "new" miis
- both Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy defaults the Miis to the pretty ugly default characters (can't go back to being a Mii), but save data remains

Just found a mod that solves my problem, but it's a bit *too* custom to my liking.
https://gamebanana.com/mods/498754
It's the Mii Channel Custom Symbol Keyboard made by Ro, and while it does allow for editing Miis with blue pants, the app adds too much. I'm trying to keep my setup as vanilla as I can, so if there was a way to modify this mod to only have editing blue pants Miis, and turning those pants back to their original colors (either black or red) would be awesome.

found a gecko code, "Temporary Mii Unlock by Thomas83Lin" (04047440 60000000)
it basically does the same thing (letting you edit miis with blue pants / non-matching console ids), but having blue pants for some miis and gray/red ones for new miis I'll make will definitely be off-putting. still looking for a proper solution
