Emulation Best device to play GBA games currently?

Guys, I really appreciate all the answers. I'll look into getting a joystick to my smartphone. I'll watch some reviews and find one with a nice battery and one that fits well on my device.

Look at the 8Bitdo line of controllers dude u will love them like SNES/SFC 30

Psp/psvita are great handheld emulation machines. Or a NVidia shield portable is also great too

It's more like the DS mode, but you can use the thing to inject almost any GBA game.

If you're going to nitpick, perhaps you shouldn't argue with Nintendo Support about it? IIRC, Nintendo didn't pursue it precisely because the "Virtual Console" experience wasn't what they desired. Ergo, the naming as VC is right. So, it'd be more accurate to say the lack of expected VC features is the basis for no further progress on their part in that area.

Vita or New 3DS are both really great IMO.
O3ds is alright, but expect occasional annoying slowdowns.

Vita or New 3DS are both really great IMO.

Its perfect on O3DS GBA inject because after all it was made on that hardware

Personally I find emulation on smartphones pretty uncomfortable.

Though, for games that require next to no precision, like RPGs or Tactical games, it works pretty nicely.

Maybe yes, maybe not. With bluetooth gamepad. Can play everything. Any kind of gba games. But almost every interesting. I just finished some years ago. Pokemons, Summon Nights, etc. Now I look for someting new and fresh
