Hdd for docked switch ?How would that even work when the switch is disconnected?
calm down and hold your horsesOkay then, what about exFAT storage microSD? Do they work on a 3.0.0 switch? I've got a 200gb sandisk ready with roms for homebrew
I don't know if the exFAT update is 3.0.0 but If your exFAT sd doesn't work, format it in fat32Okay then, what about exFAT storage microSD? Do they work on a 3.0.0 switch? I've got a 200gb sandisk ready with roms for homebrew
1.: Google would've solved your problem way fasterI noticed two USB ports on the dock and was wondering, could I use a USB HDD with it?
exFat update is unrelated to System Update AFAIK.I don't know if the exFAT update is 3.0.0 but If your exFAT sd doesn't work, format it in fat32

the switch cant receive data from the dockHow would that even work when the switch is disconnected?
im sure they have some storage use for it in the future though
maybe keyboard and mouse input
Nope, the switch recognises the microsd but not the filesystem, so that sucks for anything over 4gbs!the switch cant receive data from the dock
so why does it have USB ports then?the switch cant receive data from the dock
Ethernet, controllers, anything charger ...so why does it have USB ports then?
Slighty fastest charging of anything connected to it.The real question is why it has a USB 3.0 port... what apart from a storage device would it be used for?
ethernet uses data thoughEthernet, controllers, anything charger ...
You asked why does it have usb. I gave you logical answer.ethernet uses data though
you make no sense. if it can transmit data via ethernet, it can transmit data using other media as well

They do make sense.
The Switch as of now can use USB for a few things, but USB storage is not one of them.
They would need to update the OS to support USB storage in some way.
did you skim through the thread or something? You asked why does it have usb. I gave you logical answer.
If you don't see it, problem is on your side.
they cant change this though they would have to release new hardwareWhich is why i wrote they might have plans for it in the future
dont you read?
