Hacking Usb HDD for switch Dock

I noticed two USB ports on the dock and was wondering, could I use a USB HDD with it?

I don't know if the exFAT update is 3.0.0 but If your exFAT sd doesn't work, format it in fat32

Nope, the switch recognises the microsd but not the filesystem, so that sucks for anything over 4gbs!

They do make sense.

The Switch as of now can use USB for a few things, but USB storage is not one of them.

They would need to update the OS to support USB storage in some way.
