Marcus Sellers, known for predicting future games releases, claims the next Call of Duty game will be a new entry in the Black Ops series and will be released on the switch.
Source: Twitter
Marcus Sellers had been correct in the past. Most recently, he predicted the release of Nintendo Labo and the dark souls port.
Eurogamer has also said in an article that their sources claim that the next CoD game is Black ops 4 after the tweet. They were not able to confirm or deny the switch claim.

The switch release will support dlc, hd rumble and motion controls according to him.

Call of Duty may be overrated these days but I personally like the Black Ops games (1 & 2). This one will be boots on the ground apparently. What are your thoughts? Ports to the last generation console receive a massive amount of hate for their terrible quality. With the switch being considerably weaker than the xbone and PS4, will this version be the same?

A predict isn't a leak....
Even so, what tells if a console will have a version of some game isn't how powerful it is, but how well it is selling. I would expect many more games AAA ported to Switch.

Spoiler: It will be priced $60, comes in a 2 GB cartridge and will have a 50 GB mandatory download.
Not sure if trolling... Or........

Regardless, I don't see Call of Duty coming back to a Nintendo console. Wouldn't be surprised if this were indeed true. Would still pick it up on PC though... And that's only assuming they appease the die hard CoD 2 Fanboys...

A rose by any other name still smells as sweet. A Call of Duty game for Switch still reeks of sweet apathy.

I actually welcome a call of duty game for the switch and I actually don't care for the series. There were many people in the wii era that enjoyed cod for its use of motion control and I found it enjoyable as well. If they could utilize good and comfortable aiming motion controls like in splatoon that would help sell for the system.

Oh boi, CoD... The Switch is ruined. /s
If this prediction turns out to be real, I bet I'll be able to convert a lot of Xbox, PS4, and PC fanboys to Nintendo!
Nah, they'll complain that their generic grey-brown graphics aren't as good.

They do sell bigger carts, the publishers just don't want to use them, to make the costs cheaper for them.
I’ve read that the highest cart maxes out at 32 gigabytes. About 20 gigs short from the average AAA game (50). It is true that developers chooses to use carts with less capacity to save costs and keep the price at 60.

I noticed that after i posted the topic. However, Marcus probably has an inside source but chooses not to reveal for security reasons. I would edit the title if i could.
The only problem with CoD on switch is the quality that it will have. Black ops 3 on the Xbox 360 and ps3 were very bad ports that looked worse than their predecessors. The switch is less powerful than both the ps4 and xbone so we can only wonder how well it will look.

They don't want to pay more to use them. That's not on Nintendo, really, that's the dev's fault they won't pay more.
Why is it the dev's fault? Nintendo is the one that decided the format. Blu-rays cost next to nothing. If I were Nintendo and I was serious about third party support I would eat the cost.
