I was at friend's house and use his PC and damn! I got solid 60FPS in Smash Bros in Auto Resolution.
Specs is Intel Core i9 as a processor and have Nvidia GTX 1080. His PC is a beast! I wish I have that but I ain't throwing cash for a beefy PC that is waaaaaay more expensive than the 3DS or Wii U.
Sadly, Yuzu Switch Emulator pretty runs shit there. I have an external hard drive for my report and that same hard drive have emulators.
Anyways, let them work more and document more on the Switch first than trying to boot one commercial game.

why is it so hard to fix up the soundeffects on dragon quest 8 on the citra emulator
It's because they have to reverse engineer the 3DS' sound to make it work. Don't worry. They are trying to make a fix for the audio and it's gonna take a long to finish it.
Again, making an emulator takes time. You might think that it's a walk in the park. But no, they need a 3DS(actual REAL 3DS console that you can buy in store, not emulated) to reverse engineer it and it's not that easy to replicate. Please don't compare it to Cemu as what I said, Cemu are paid workers who will work 24/7 while Citra is open-source and developers have lives to deal with.
Again, if you're impatient, why not just go to PS2 and play Dragon Quest 8 there? There won't be any difference because Dragon Quest 8 for the 3DS is just a port.
