Is there a way to dump the log from the CMD Console that always opens along Citra, into a text file?
Because yeah, I still can't open Pokémon Omega Ruby with your builds, @valentinvanelslande.
No matter how many times I restart the emulator now, it just gives me a black screen after the intro.
I mean.. I'll attach a pic with the last entries that the console received, but I think that it'd be better if I could somehow dump the whole thing in a text file and share that instead.

Just in case, I tried executing "C:\Users\USER\Desktop\citra-windows-mingw-20180127-ce38e8a\citra-qt.exe > log.txt" on CMD, but yeah.. that didn't work.
change ticks to 10500

Protip: When disabling cores in order to test the possible benefits in performance that Citra may have, disable the Core 0 or make sure to check each core individually.
I have a really sad and weak Dual Core CPU and I noticed that if I disable the Core 1, everything runs as usual, but if I disable the Core 0 I do notice a small performance gain.

Related to mobile.
Dolphin may have an Android port. But it's exclusive to any powerful phones, not some decent smartphones like Samsung Galaxy J5.
Heck, even the oldest Dolphin Android port(Alpha version) works on my phone but plays games at 5-12FPS. I could practically play Pichu and Kirby in Melee and beat up a Level 9 Fox or Ganondorf.

Yes. 3DS is not powerful as the Wii when it comes to generating polygons. But meh. Don't blame Nintendo. Maybe Capcom made it look like that so that the game won't lag on o3ds. There was a discussion about 3DS being powerful as the Wii. Search it up. Again, no Citra Android port anytime soon not because it's weak or poor, but not planned to make one for now. Everyone is focusing the PC/Mac/Linux version for now. If you want to play 3DS games on the go, just buy a 3DS or just give up because you're parents don't want to buy a console.

To be fair this was a thing, but considering that it's been inactive for around 8 months now, it's safe to assume that it's dead.
At least the code's there, so if someone wanted, s/he could fork it and try to keep it going.

I already know that it's a thing. But there's no work for how many months and no experience hacker would help contribute Citra Android yet. Probably not everyone owns a powerful phone to test it out or building an .apk file might be difficult.

Hello everyone, can someone recommend me a build for playing SMT 4 (Shin Megami Tensei IV) ?
My specs are:
i5 3570 stock clock
8gb 1600Mhz RAM
950 GTX 2GB
My CPU doesn't support AVX2 so there's that...

Greetings all.

Where do some of you find the sickc builds ?

I want to get ahold of the most up to date build that can run MHgen smoothly.

Currently have the "Citra_GCC7.2_Qt5.10.0_generic_sandbox_20180118" build that i got from doing a quick search on this forum for 'Monster Hunter' talk.

While it runs fine, it still has a problem rendering shadows, and video cutscenes & title screens are low rez/graining, compared to some other builds i've tried that ether remove the film grain and/or upscale said video scense and title screens.

FYI - PC Specs
3930k @ 4.6 (Sandybridge)
780 Classifed OC'ed
1Tb SSD
16gb DDR3

which 1 of these builds will gave me the sound effects back for dragon quest 8

none sound isn't perfect in citra and no unofficial builds have implemented the missing sound effects. wwylele is currently working on DSP LLE which would fix all of the audio related issues.

just a quick question here, how come its a taking a long time for dragon quest 8 to work 100% fine on citra

Well. That's what a developed emulator do. It takes time. It's not like there's a miracle that can make a game fully optimized in less than a year.
Also, if you're gonna bring that Cemu shenanigans, they're literally different than Citra. Citra 3DS Emulator is open-source with most developers and contributors who are still in college, NOT full-time paid developer.

If you are really obsess on playing Dragon Quest 8 perfectly, just buy a 3DS or just give up!

Also, no spamming please.

i would not mind playing dragon quest 8 on the pcsx2, if there was a code to have all dungeon maps

I don't get you people. First, why are you saying that you want some good performance on the 3DS Emulator and later said "Meh. This game run slow on this emulator. I will go to another emulator and play the original game and not the port of it.". Second, if you say so, why would you bother to make a comment of that? lol

Anyways, Citra is still in development and different emulators DOESN'T mean that they've shared the same or similar code like DesMuMe and MelonDS. Now, I better stop making another controversial thing again and let you guys experiment it on your own. It's okay to not know everything though. :)

Why do you insist on mentioning your performance with cemu? Are you actually mentally challenged?

no it is because dragon is 8 runs very well I find that some games do not run well enough it comes from the emulator that does not manage all the games like the console, monster hunter is slow on citra while on cemu they are fast and stable ... the ps2 emulator took a lot of time but it's another console

What does that have to do with anything? Cemu is a completely different emulator for a different console, what part of that is difficult to understand?
