Hi,

Like title said, for obvious reasons I want to capture gameplay footage for which I cannot allow my 3DS to connect to the internet. My problem is that the 3DS won't connect to a network if it doesn't have an internet connection.
Is there a way to force the console to connect to an access point that's not connected to the internet ? Or trick it into thinking it is connected while blocking all Nintendo servers ?

Thanks in advance,

You can block Nintendo's servers on your router. That should work.

If you have Windows 10, use the wifi hotspot feature. That will improve the stream performance. (Actually, I think the hotspot is saved even if the connection test fails).

Is the list from here enough or are there other servers I should block ?

I do and am using it already. The 3DS only saves new connections after it succesfully connects to the internet but you can just edit the SSID/Encryption from an existing one and it'll save without checking if it's connected to the internet. Unfortunately, the 3DS won't get an IP from those connections until they can access the internet.

That should be enough, but I could be wrong.
