I've installed Super Mario 64 VC WAD onto my Wii and the first thing I've noticed is that it's darker than on any other emulator (or the N64). Can I somehow fix this? Maybe by altering the build-in emulator? I have had the same problem on my 3DS VC games (mainly NES games) and there was a way to alter the ROM so that it'd display the colors correctly. Is such a thing possible on the Wii?

Sadly, its not a bug, its a feature, the screen gets dimmer almost off lol, so, did you try NOT64?
I know it's a feature, but I just want to remove it. Also, I've tried NOT64, but I think it's better to use VC for the supported games, because there's no lag and graphical glitches.

As far as i know, it CANT be turned off, or edited, according to another forum:

Virtual console doesn't interlope colors, it uses a bilinear filter that blends the edges of pixels to remove that "pixely" look.

Bilinear doesn't make interlacing look transparent.
