Ok I've been trying for the last half hour trying to get the ntrboothax to work and recover my 3ds. The problem? The firm is not loading, either the action replay was flashed incorrectly, or the n3ds slot is preventing the connection. Your proably asking how I know that I got the magnet setup right. Well the error code changes slightly. going from

But I'm getting no where. The action replay was flashed just fine. Does anyone know what I should do?
I'm on a n3ds model.

I don't know much about this, but try testing the action replay on a normal 3ds, just to make sure everything is working. Also sounds stupid, but I tried for so long my first time before realizing the magnet was too high, so try making sure that's directly under the B button. Lastly, how exactly did this brick occur? If it's along the lines of a botched hardmod, I would doubt this would fix it, but I also doubt that's the case.

it does. I tested on a ds. And I can confirm that the flashing method isn't corrupt as restoring the orignal firm works and I can then boot the action replay just fine

and the brick was a result of a bad backup. no hard mods.

If you reach the bootrom error screen, then ntrboot was not activated at all.
Either it's poor contacts, botched ntrboot->ardsi installation, or incorrect ntrboot key/magnet combo.

Wait, what? That is possible? I thought that If you do bad backup, you can always boot to luma. What an old and interesting news.
If it's a really badbackup WITHOUT BOOT PROTECTION or checksum. (There was a time where backups were not checked) it would brick the system
