@QuarkTheAwesome : Sorry if I missed that here but does this commit mean I can use the GamePad's screen for mouse inputs in SNES games like Mario Paint or even DosBox games?
https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/commit/6b5aef09a14754004083735abf1bae452c9d7ee5
It partially does. Y'see, mice send out data in terms of relative position: where it is compared to last time it was checked. Touch screens, however, do it in terms of absolute position: where it is compared to some fixed point. Without having a known starting point for the mouse, it's really hard to convert between the two. This wouldn't be a problem, except I'm yet to see a single core that supports absolute positioning. Thus; you can't really use touch input at this point.
I did notice a recent commit adding relative/absolute conversion into the udev drivers, might be possible to adapt that. Also worth thinking about adding proper absolute support to the cores.

Done!

Also: any PSX news? I've been caught up in other projects ATM so I haven't really been following stuff up...

And here are some nice console icons for your playlists.

Also sharing my playlists with trimmed arcade selections and complete no intro console romsets.

Ok i installed everything completely new now, and at least xmb works. Playlist buddy takes its time to download the images, but they're still 1kb and corrupted. A playlist file is made, but if i choose it in Retroarch it shows the right games but they can't be loaded. If i select the game from sd manually and then a core, it works.

I did everything like in the op...

Btw @All: I can't for the life of me figure out how to get thumbnails to work. I tried downloading them with playlist buddy. I tried downloading them from within RetroArch's online updater but they won't show up.
Of course I made sure they are enabled (I set them up to show screenshots of each game).
It's working for me on PC but not on Wii U.
To answer my own question ... you should download the thumbs on your own here, really:
https://github.com/libretro-thumbnails/libretro-thumbnails
Just click on a system, then the green "clone or download" button and download it as zip. Copy the folder within the zip to your thumbnails folder on your SD card or USB drive and rename the folder (which should contain three "Named_*" folders) to the exakt same name as your playlist (for example Nintendo - Super Nintendo Entertainment System).
And don't ever use playlist buddy to download your thumbs because they are always damaged. That was the reason why it didn't work for me.

I thought about the same thing (absolute/relative) when I thought about touch screen support as I was facing similiar issues with Unity for Wii U but there you can (as a fallback) rely on the Wii U API which is provided there. The last thing you wrote sounds kinda promising. Whenever that's working, it'd be a killer feature for Wii U's version of RetroArch. :)

And here are some nice console icons for your playlists.
Sweet stuff man. To be honest I'll stay with the official "dot-art" icon theme which is provided by xmb as I simply love that but believe me when I say I'd pick yours if dot-art wouldn't exist. :)

Read the beginning of my post about how to get the thumbnails.
About the playlists ... could you post the content of one of your playlist files here in spoiler and code tags?

I know there was a bounty to get some kind of dynarec PPC done and ported for Beetle PSX, maybe @ShadowOne333 or @ploggy knows?

I didn't want to have all thumbnails for each system on the sd but well if nothing else works. And I'll take a look at the playlist file tomorrow, maybe playlist buddy fucked something up there too.

Sorry, I wasn't home the whole day.

The guy is still updating the Github repo for his fork of the dynarec, it's still going on, last update was September 30th.
Also, another bit of important information, it seems Twinaphex compiled his repo (with a comit from before Sept. 26th) and he said that he got it to compile but what having issues booting up the BIOS.

That's the last bit of info I have at the moment about the dynarec for PSX Beetle.
