deleting the config.bin did not do anything altho i do have the top screen unpluged at this time tho as a modder who does nandmods and stuff told me to been talking to him in a chat on discord i will plug it back in when i get up. but the bottom screen will not come on at the bottom with that file removed if that helps.
Only the top screen shows the luma/a9lh config iirc. Plug it back in and try again. Also just curious why did he have you unplug the screen? To get to something else in the 3ds?

he had me unplug the screen because he was thinking it may be a part.
I did that and it did not do anything so i know it was not a screen because i had unpluged both of them so we got that ruled out.

Alright, that was helpful. So what's happening in this video is that when you power in on with the SD card inserted, you briefly see the Luma3DS config screen (because SD:/luma/config.bin is either missing or old) then it powers off. When you take the SD card out, it tries to boot from Luma3DS on the NAND, which does have a config file and so it doesn't show the config screen and attempts to boot, but gets stuck on a black screen (something is bad in your NAND). Lastly, if you put the SD card in and hold Start while booting, it tries to load whatever is in your payloads folder, can't, and powers off.

Why the 3DS powers off when trying to show the config file, I'm not sure. Do you have this file: SD:/luma/config.bin? If so, try deleting it. Power your 3DS on normally without holding any buttons and see if the config screen comes up and stays up or if it powers off again.
ok after getting my screens pluged back in i put did what you told me and it did not change. but i did have A9hl installed and don't have my card setup for that anymore and the newest luma on the card as well.

When you say the newest Luma, you don't mean v8.1.1 do you? That's B9S only and won't work with your A9LH setup. The last one you can use is v7.0.5. So make sure you have that version on your SD card as arm9loaderhax.bin and then we can go from there. Also, any payloads you have in the SD:/luma/payloads/ folder should also end in .bin

so after all this i'm gonna call it a new kind of brick (could be hardwere along with it) i'm buying a system on ebay for $70 with a broken screen to replace the parts in this one and i think i will send the motherboard in to some one after i get my new parts to see what they think is going on.

Hi guys,
I don't know why but Im having a problem with ntrboot
It used to work fine but now it will launch maybe 1 time on 50 tries.
It is a r4i gold with the boot9strap 1.3

The magnet is working when the console is ON and i keep it at that right spot.

It will just turn on and show a black screen untill I release the button and remove the magnet, it will load the system
