Nope that is the 1st thing i tryed and i had it set up to boot with out it as well did the full guide when i hacked it holding select or start when booting does not work with or without sd card ether.
i'll do that now hold on.

If the cable is loose then i can fix that my self just was not wanting to take it apart but i would like to try everything that others can come up with 1st.
were do i download it? if it helps i was on luma 6.6 never updated to the bs9 as all the games worked fine
so the newer 7.0 will work with my luma 6.6 setup i did have? i'll try it when my sd card format gets done i did the format just in case.
it will not boot at all holding select or start when booting up just black screen no backlight and blue light.. when my sd card format gets done i will put all my files back on and put the new luma 7.0.5 on it and see if that helps.
ok hope so I did a full format on my 32gb card so its gonna take a wile kinda wish i would have held off on it but o wells
yes i do that was one of the 1st things i did just in case i needed to do a hard mod.
or have some one do it for me if i don't think that i can.
