New 3DS xl possible brick

    are new 3ds xl is on 11.4 its got A9LH all that good stuff but my kid was playing a game it come an unknown error has occurred hold the power button to reboot so i did that now all i get is a black screen with blue lignt no other thing the screen's back light does not even come on if that helps.

    If you eject the SD card, does it boot up then?

    Nope that is the 1st thing i tryed and i had it set up to boot with out it as well did the full guide when i hacked it holding select or start when booting does not work with or without sd card ether.

    Can try to open the backplate and pull the battery, press the powerbutton a couple of times and reseat the battery and see if it makes any difference?

    Crap, I wonder if it's ribbon cable that's loose then. Maybe @vb_encryption_vb or @gamesquest1 know the issue and repaired such a device before?

    If the cable is loose then i can fix that my self just was not wanting to take it apart but i would like to try everything that others can come up with 1st.

    Replace the arm9loaderhax.bin on your sd card. It is probably just corrupt. This happened to me a few times.

    were do i download it? if it helps i was on luma 6.6 never updated to the bs9 as all the games worked fine

    so the newer 7.0 will work with my luma 6.6 setup i did have? i'll try it when my sd card format gets done i did the format just in case.

    it will not boot at all holding select or start when booting up just black screen no backlight and blue light.. when my sd card format gets done i will put all my files back on and put the new luma 7.0.5 on it and see if that helps.

    7.0.5 is the latest version to work with A9LH, so it should work.

    ok hope so I did a full format on my 32gb card so its gonna take a wile kinda wish i would have held off on it but o wells

    Don't format your card. Try the new arm9loaderhax.bin first.

    EDIT: I guess I'm too late.

    yes i do that was one of the 1st things i did just in case i needed to do a hard mod.

    You need hardmod, I'm sure the nand was corrupted.
