I know the DSi Shop is closed, and the only application left is the 3DS Transfer Tool, but after booting the CFW, can I access the Shop and download the Transfer Tool?

hiyacfw will launch a custom launcher directly from the sd card, so if you have a 64gb sd card like me, you won't have any problems (also custom vc i made is only a few megabytes)
What about the title limit?

Is not about storage, is about how many titles do you have installed on the menu, for example, on 3DS you cannot install more than 300 ctr titles and for DSiWare you cannot have more than 40 titles on the home menu, no matter how much space do you have on your SD/TWLNAND.

I even made some icons for them, but I'm having problems with transparency since it needs to be a .bmp file and i used lots of black, but black in .bmp is transparent
#000000 is transparent, so why not use something like #0F0F0F, #001E1E, #1E0A0A, or #142800?

i did, but other colors get fucked up for some reason, i made an awesome megaman 3 icon, i didn't use pure black so it wasn't transparent, but for some reason my dark blue got transparent

maybe we get to modify the dsiware limit?

I assume that the answer is yes. However, you can also copy its tmd to sd and access it from sdNAND.

BMP doesn't have actual transparency, so most things that support "transparent BMP" work by deleting the color used in the pixel of a specific corner, or for indexed modes (2/4/16/256 colors) one color is fixed to be transparent
For (already converted) DS icons in particular I think I've seen in gbatek that a bit enables or disables transparency

Lol, it doesn't work like that, the DSi Menu require a huge of research of REing and yet, the DSi would explote if there is to many titles on the menu, so no, SRLoader is better because os open-sourced and it handles the DSi cache.

Is it even possible to program a sort of VC emulator with an official-looking interface and better DSi-enhanced emulation using TWL clock speeds off another existing emulator for DS?
IDK, just look at Sonic Classic Collection, which is essentially just a DSi-enhanced version of jEnesisDS packed into a DS Game Card.
