Hacking ret -1017 error when installing a wad

You didn't say how you were installing the WAD but change the wad manager's default IOS to one that has ES_IDENITITY. (IOS236 or a cIOS like d2x)

i am using Waninkoko wad manager 1.7.

So change the IOS it's using to one that has ES_IDENTIFY.
