Major Windows updates released; update now

Microsoft today released a batch of updates for all supported *and* some unsupported versions of Windows, including XP, Server 2003, Vista, and Server 2008. They're saying they fixed some vulnerabilities that may be usable in WannaCry-style attacks.

Run Windows Update and make sure you have all Important/Critical updates installed.

That's the one for Windows 7. It has all of the relevant fixes. (MS started doing roll-ups for 7 and 8.1 some months ago; you can't get the individual patches anymore.)

look up windows update in the search bar, and it should be there

I have been using Ubuntu for a year, just switched a few days ago, and finally got the chance to update today
