Homebrew Homebrew on Old 3DS with 11.4 Update

This is a curiosity question. i have at my disposal an old 3DS, Old old DS, a Wii and a Wii U. Using these is there anyway to get a homebrewed cfw from the wii, wii U, or the DS and get in the 3DS. Becuase i have looked and havent found anything on getting homebrew for the Old 3DS with new system Update

Free? Nope Hardmod/dsiwarehax is only option to install on 11.4 for Boot9Strap

that says 11.3 i dont have any cfw on my old 3ds and it doesn't have to be free, would prefer but i also like helping the guys that figure this stuff out lol.

On 11.4, you have three options:

• Hardmod (requires soldering) more information
• DSiWare (requires, among other things, a second 3DS that already has CFW) more information
• ntrboothax (hasn't been released yet and will require a compatible DS/DSi flashcart) more information

Can't do it for free but you can hardmod or do a dsiware transfer exploit. You can use your old 3ds with cfw to get cfw on your stock 3ds but you have to purchase a dsiware game for approximately 2 dollars. Highly recommend doing dsiwarehax or just wait for a new exploit/ntrboothax. I screwed up a hardmod but ended up fixing it after a few hours, couldn't get the soldering correct so my o3ds is still stock sadly.

I know how to solder but how would i go about doing it? and it sounds like this flashcart thing might be easier

I got you i saw the URL links right after i posted that lol. i will look into it i also have powersaves idk if i can do anything with that. Youd think nintendo would have a way to share files between all there systems. Thanks for the quick replys!

If, after reading the guide I linked to, you're comfortable performing a hardmod, then you can do that. If you are uncomfortable performing a hardmod, then you should wait for ntrboothax to be released. Ntrboothax should be very easy to use, and if you don't own a compatible DS/DSi flashcart, you will likely be able to buy one cheaply.

That hardmod is awesome lol. I would attempt that if i had a back up 3ds but i think i will just wait for the update. I was reading the link and it looks like i will be able to use my powersaves so thats a good thing. Thanks again for the answers!
