Video ads

Recently I noticed video ads in the spot between the end of posts and the comment box. I can't turn off autoplay on my phone (at least I haven't worked out how yet) and they eat my data. Is there any way you can set them not to autoplay? Otherwise I can't visit gbatemp during the day when I'm away from home.

This is the video ad I'm talking about. Does no one really have any opinion on this? Am I the only one who uses gbatemp on a mobile device?

I haven't seen any video ads recently, I guess I'm lucky. There has been some really big pop up ads on mobile lately though for me.

I don't think I can use anything other than Safari as a Web browser on an iPhone but I'll investigate.

You can, but I'm not sure what is or isn't available anymore. I haven't had an iPhone since 2013. RIP.

Brilliant! I didn't know that was possible. I downloaded "AdBlocker Ultimate" and this is the result:

I love gbatemp and want to support it but autoplaying video ads are a bridge too far. Hopefully nds-card.com still comes through - I think they're coded in so they survive the block process.
