I guess from now, there will be more things specifically for b9s (Luma for example will not be updated for a9lh anymore)
Also the chance of Nintendo patching this are apparently not possible (although a9lh can in theory - maybe not?) have more chance of being patched
So I don't have to install this right away then? (B9s)

A9lH should still be pretty much safe (not as much as b9s though)
Both of them rely on CFW (for example luma) to do the firm protection, so safety level is exactly the same.
For the end users b9s offers absolutely nothing if you already have a9lh installed so I don't really understand why aurora tries to push it so much.

I was under the assumption that b9s occurs before a9lh (and before firm0/firm1 where a9lh resides). making it safer and harder to patch. All the other sources say similar. Any more further info on this?

b9s is just a modified firm0, it can be overwritten by nintendo update if you don't have firm protection.

What can't be patched is the Boot ROM vulnerability, which includes the ability to boot a specially-designed NTR cart (eventually). A9LH could be "patched" by forcing a FIRM write with some means, which would prevent use of CFW until A9LH is reinstalled using some other vulnerability.

Can i still use Decrypt9wip / Hourglass9? Because use these tools often and it would be mad if they dont work with the updated hack.

Decrypt9WIP and Hourglass9 were updated for Boot9Stack. I'd recommend using GodMode9 instead of Decrypt9WIP because it has all of the functionality and then some, including a file browser.

Ok Thanks :) Tried Godmode9 in the past but for me Decrypt9wip is easier to use for converting games.

Now i only need to find the compiled version of the latest commit on both tools.

EDIT: Friend of me asked me to install it on his 3ds too but he asked if there is a way to go back to a9lh if he wants to. Would this be possible if i do a complete backup before installing sighax or is there no way back? Because he said he wants to try it but dont know if he wants to keep it because he is using Gateway from time to time for cheating in Singleplayer.
I know this is also possible with NTR for the most cheats but he doesn't like it

OMG, installing this on an unmodded console is supersimple compared to the old a9lh method with which I modded my other N3DS!
Both of my N3DSs are now b9s-ed :D :D

Can I delete DSP1 from my system after I run it once?

I have noticed that game scrolling on the menu screen is a little slower after upgrading to b9 from a9, its like not as smooth as before
