i have a european version and i downloaded the japanse version to but if i start the japanse version my n3ds crashes

what crash exactly happens when you try to load the game? Also. Were you able to grab the newest version for the jp version?

i have the newest version.when i launch the game it loads but after some secs my game crash then this message pop up:your system needs to be restarted

Update luma as that was a known issue..... Confirmed working by me lol (JAP and UK versions)

@Antp0is0n Ive seen people having crashing problems. I saw in another thread that you could try deleting your luma config file to see if that works. Worth a shot. I had to delete mine because it refused to boot ds games with my sd card inserted.

Use LumaLocaleSwitcher. Get the "nightly" version by Possum or the fork.

Forgot to mention that you have to have game patching enabled in Luma3DS. Turn off your 3DS. Hold select button while you press the power button. Check "Enable Game Patching". Press start button.

In LumaLocaleSwitcher, you have to set it to JPN JP.

You can also just install the Welcome amiibo version of the European one. It'll be a white icon instead of green. You can have both together. It'll also be playable in German if you install the EUR version.

If you're on latest firmware you should be able to play online.
