Hacking New 3DS XL 2.1.0 to 11.0 soft-bricked

I'm super new to the 3ds hacking scene, and I updated my 2.1.0 downgraded New 3ds XL to 11.0 via Pokemon Moon (call me an idiot all you want, I deserve it). Now, I can't open system settings or the browser. I've attempted recovery mode but the update always stops around the 90% mark. Another thing is, I updated before I even got a9lh. Soundhax isn't working as when I launch 3ds Sound with an SD card in, an error occurs and I am forced to power off. Luckily, I can still play 3ds games, however DS games don't work. Help would be very appreciated!

EDIT: I'm still waiting for PowerSaves to ship for oot3dhax, when it comes in a few days, we'll see how that turns out.

Soundhax does not work with cart updates, also, why did you update? 2.1 is exploitable using browserhax

The solution is to downgrade again, install A9LH, and restore a NAND backup.

The 2xrsa link wasn't working no matter what I tried, and I checked the locations of my files over and over.

Why doodlebomb? When he gets access to hbl, he should get an 11.3 CIA and use soundhax to install CFW.

He's using an o3ds firmware on a new 3ds. Upgrading may brick his device.

You got incredibly lucky. Did you not see this warning in the guide?

Never update a New 3DS running 2.1.0 (an Old 3DS firmware) or you will BRICK! You MUST restore a NAND backup or CTRTransfer back to standard New 3DS firmware first!

I happened to see that looking for solutions to my problem, actually. I'm definitely taking this as a warning to look over the guides before taking any actions now.
