what is the savestate file format?
Only take the file "track01.iso",and rename "track01.smd".You should use genesisPlus core. You should also check out bios file. Finally you can play sega cd games but there's no sound. Are there in your searches for sega cd..any eboot files or something similar for it? Just asking because I have been downloading eboot.pbp files for PSX and it is in compressed format instead of the bin/cue files. The size difference in some games is great and game play is the same as a cd.
It depends on emulator and platform. But hakchi2 save-state backup is just .tar.gz file with saves and screenshotswhat is the savestate file format?
New cores tested and working (yabuse is slooooow but it works !)
o2em (magnavox odissey 2)
yabuse (sega saturn emulator ! very slow !!! but it works ! Tested with Sega Rally.)
prosystem (atari7800)
vecx (vectrex)
All submitted to pcm720 !
Also tested Mikey Mania .iso per sega CD and it worked with picodrive !
For those isos you need to find iso+mp3 packets and remove the .mp3 to have the iso-only which must be less than 30Mb.
Version 2.15
Not so many changes, just a bunch of critical fixes:
Also check for new RetroArch mod: https://github.com/ClusterM/retroarch-clover/releases/tag/0.7
- Using internal games packing instead of external "tar" util, it will fix "Can't pack games" error.
- RAM memory usage optimizations, hakchi2 should work fine on x86 systems now.
- Possible memory leak fix during folder navigation (testing required).
- Free flash memory space automatic check and basic memory usage statistics when not enough flash memory available.
- clovercon driver creates /dev/clovercon1 and /dev/clovercon2 now, you can read current buttons state from it, it's useful for some scripts.
- Translations to German, Greek, Spain, Italian and Polish languages. Write if you want to help with translation.
Sega rally is working in mame since release 0.87; mame2003 is based on mame 0.78 romset so it is not working, no way to launch it succesfully with mame2003, I am sorry.I have read almost all of this thread and I cannot find the answer to slove my issue.
I am trying to install SEGA Rally, the arcade version, because the saturn version is sloooooow as asper said.
I have downloaded the MAME ROM, installed with hakchi (2.15 version) the retroarch module and the mame2003 module, changed the command line to "/bin/mame2003", synchronized everything.
When I try to load the game, a black screen appears for a few seconds and then it resumes to the main menu of the nes mini.
What did I do wrong ?
Thanks
Have you installed the bios (bios_CD_U.bin) somewhere or are you just placing it into the same directory as the game?Only take the file "track01.iso",and rename "track01.smd".You should use genesisPlus core. You should also check out bios file. Finally you can play sega cd games but there's no sound.

The Zapper only works with CRT televisions, but as there wasn't really much overlap between HDMI and CRT there aren't too many TVs that combine both technologies. So even if you could rewire a Zapper to somehow communicate with the console, you'd then need either a very specific CRT TV or a generic CRT TV with some sort of signal converter...Does anyone know/have a setup for retroarch game specific configuration to work with the NES zapper? I read that Zapper (and Powerpad) support is present in FCE, but unsure if in retroarch-clover. It would be great to setup games like Gumshoe and Athletic Sports to automatically use the correct input config (and not affect other games).
If anyone has this working and/or knows more about retroarch configuration:
- does retroarch.cfg need to be copied into the game folder (that hakchi2 uploads), and renamed to [GameName].[Extension].cfg? If the extension is 7z (with a .net inside), should it be [GameName].7z.cfg or [GameName].nes.cfg?
- what config values are required in th game cfg to enable Zapper (and powerpad) support?
I'm in Europe, and I just use the USB port on the back of my TV.I have 2 NES Classics and I want to consolidate them with a single AC adaptor. The stock adaptor outputs 5.2V ~ 1A. I have some lying around that have 2 USB ports, but has a slightly different output. Does anyone know if it matters? What do those in Europe use?
Edit: The NES itself says 5V input, so even the provided adaptor isn't an exact match. The one I have that is 5V should work, I guess.

It's bugged. Just add new games sync them and take them right back off and watch your memory drain. So if I'm down to ~270 MB of available space in 2.15, is there any way to free up space besides removing games? What could be bringing the total available down so low? In my games folder, the total amount is ~305 MB, pictures included. What's eating up the extra 35 MB?
