80 NES, SNES, N64, and GB VC games available at launch would be awesome and a step in the right direction, but it seems too good to be true! Too bad this is Nintendo we're talking about!

I was even shocked that they correctly predicted the direct from last year where we got SNES VC games for the New 3DS. That seemed fake, too.

Even if this was real the news itself is very average. Virtual Console was inevitable and not really exciting to play 20+ year old games. Already know about LoZ DLC, again this is not exciting nor new news.

Oh, but people (mostly critics) then call new games like Yooka-Lalyee "bland". I don't get it? YL looks pretty good to me, despite its flaws.

Your changing the subject. Yooka-Laylee is a 2017 game and virtual console games are 20+ year old games. Games I've played ad nauseum.

I knew that. I just don't know why people can't ever decide on which games are fun and which games aren't. It's a critical mass!

Back on topic, it's too bad that Nintendo can't listen to its fans for once and launch the Switch VC with at least 50 or more games, consisting of NES, SNES, N64, GB, and GBC. That would be a start.

Well no E3 from Nintendo has ever been that short, those 2 announcement might just be the first 2 of the show before they address things not mentioned in the 4chan post. That is if any of this is true.

Beyond that, I think nintendo should just make the Virtual Console a Netflix-like experience. Forget buying each VC title individually, just charge me like $10 a month to play all the available VC titles that I'd like for that month.

Edit: I thought this was E3, not a direct. I suppose a direct could be that short, but even then, it still seems too short for the average Nintendo Direct.

The idea of an improved VC especially for the Switch which can be taken on the go is actually kinda exciting. Not news that I'm particularly dying for, mind you, as we all know that news about it will inevitably be coming soon as it is. But I can understand why people might be excited by such news.

Well, unlike Wii and Wii U, N64 on Switch means you'd be able to play N64 games ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE.
