Hello! I want to have a capture card on my 3DS, but I only have an O3DS. Should I mod that or save up for a N3DS to hardmod?
xl, screen recordWhat's your purpose behind the hardmod? Non xl? Or xl?
I kind of want sound, and I only have old 3ds, so those are not an optionWith New 3DS, use 3DSKitKat or NTRViewer, but you'll need a FAST internet, also no sound will record, just screens.
idk with Old3DS
I think there's a method.I kind of want sound, and I only have old 3ds, so those are not an option
what?I think there's a method.
Connect audiphone entry to 3DS and to your PC, start Audacity or your favorite recorder, and start recording, maybe that can work, but im not sure...
Sorry my explications sucks, i mean like this:what?
Sorry my explications sucks, i mean like this:
"The sound thing was done by just plugging an 3.5 mm audio cable between my n3ds and the microphone jack of my pc."
I think it's a Audiphone jack for recording audio
Yep, i think you should save some $$$ and buy a New 3DS and use that.but i said i have old 3ds, hard mod is the only way to screen record
hopefully i get lucky with the bitcoin faucetc im always onYep, i think you should save some $$$ and buy a New 3DS and use that.
Meanwhile, the only way with Old3DS is hardmod or hardmod.
and record the audio with a microphone jack (3ds) to your pc. i think hardmod old3ds is better than New3DS, have cons and pros with New 3DS
i would help you, but i don't have money...hopefully i get lucky with the bitcoin faucetc im always on
thank's i appreciate iti would help you, but i don't have money...
Well, good luck with that
As someone who has a fast 802.11ac and has used NTRViewer with good success, I have to say that it comes nowhere close to being as good as a capture card for recording or viewing on a bigger screen. You can have decent (30+) FPS on one screen but the other screen will be a slideshow. Or you can have lower FPS on both screens, but a more consistent FPS between them. It might not matter that much to some people as most games don't use both screens actively, but NTR-CFW is certainly no replacement for a real capture card.Yep, i think you should save some $$$ and buy a New 3DS and use that.

It has nothing to do with internet speed, but everything to do with the quality of your router and how congested your wifi network is (and in general how congested wifi is where you live)With New 3DS, use 3DSKitKat or NTRViewer, but you'll need a FAST internet, also no sound will record, just screens.

Ok, thanks for the infoAs someone who has a fast 802.11ac and has used NTRViewer with good success, I have to say that it comes nowhere close to being as good as a capture card for recording or viewing on a bigger screen. Personally, it really bothers me that the bottom screen is a slideshow even if I'm playing a game that primarily uses the top screen. It just looks bad.
It's possible that NTR-CFW could be improved further to get better FPS, but it will probably never be as good as a capture card.
@Dionicio3 A n3DS with NTR-CFW may be sufficient for your needs, and would be much, much cheaper than a capture card. Just be aware of the issue I mentioned. If you're really serious about streaming/recording or you want it to play on a bigger screen, and it's something you'll be using frequently, a capture card may be worth it.
Anyway, with capture card prices being as high as they are, I would say just to get a n3DS and mod that. There's no sense in modding outdated hardware when the mod costs several times more than the 3DS itself is worth and you can get the latest model and mod that instead for just a little more.
