if your worried about storage, the clevo laptops have more then 1 drive bay. Boot off a m.2/pcie drive and toss in a normal hdd for storage. If you choose a model with a optical drive you can buy a caddy and convert it to a hdd bay. $1000 seems a bit much given the GPU.

Trust me, there isn't much you can do with the $12,000+ computer (at least to the consumer). All them cores are not even utilize properly by software. You can however use it as a heater in the wintertime though, but winter is over. It sure is fun to build though:). So if you really need all of them RAM, I am talking 256GB+ of RAM, then the 12K+ computer would suit you, or using it for other applications that most consumers would not use it for.
Well i don't have that kind of money and i don't plan on buying one of that price. It was simply a joke. :P

Besides i don't really build these kinds of things but if anyone is interested in selling me some affordable stuff then i suppose i can consider. Though if this has the famed 1050TI is it still a problem even with the lack of a SSD cause i just want more storage for cheap.

Some of the specs are nice, but the mixture of low and high end specs makes this a badly balanced laptop.

If you have a high end CPU like the 7700 you should atleast have a 1060 and SSD to make the system more balanced.

Because if it was just full on high performance it would be more expensive, is supposed to be good performance in modern standards with low cost. This is why is not a Alienware computer and is a Republic of gamers computer. :P

I figured that, just in case if you "inherit" some money from one of your relative:P, you would be better off going for consumer grade computing. I have this $20,000+ computer in my home, and while it is a beast and can handle everything with ease, but from a consumer stand point, it might be more efficient using a consumer grade computer for the speed and practicality. I require massive amount of RAM and this 20K+ fits the bill for me and it and has room left to install more RAM. The machine weighs roughly 100 bounds and does increase my electric bill by about 20-30% when using it. My next build will probably be consumer grade, that is if I can find a motherboard that supports the amount of RAM that I need, but then again it's not written in stone yet.
It seems like you're looking for something in the middle, budget friendly with some performance. Not shopping for a laptop, however the laptop posted on the first post, does seems to fit the bill. As someone pointed out to go with Clevo, as you can actually upgrade the component except the GPU, as that form factor would be very difficult to find (unless they changed it to use standard form factor) as you go, but it is up to you.
Over all you know what you will need and how much you want to spend. Just go with the one that you feel will meet your need, without breaking the bank, and don't look back. Everybody will have different opinions and that is good, but you're opinion matters the most, because you would be getting the laptop on your own dollars.

Not but i voted no for the gpu, only if you can find the ti version for similar price.
I found 1 with i5 7300hq and 1050 ti for 999 euro.

I don't understand why everyone is focused on the Graphic card. Yet no one explains why the "TI" is so important.
TI = better

The graphics card is ESSENTIAL to playing games. Saying the graphics card isn't important is like saying "Oh I can get a 1991 graphics card for gaming".

The 1050ti has one more stream processor and a hundred or so extra cuda cores. It's also had a lower stock clock but you could always overclock it too. Essentially it's just a slightly more powerful 1050. I would also like to note that the mobile 1050 seems to come in a 2GB and 4GB version (mobile ti version is 4GB too) while the desktop 1050 only comes in 2GB and 1050ti comes in 4GB.

Thank you for more valueable information. No one said is isn't important, there just no one explaining why having TI is better. I know Graphics cards are important for a system, all i see is "It doesn't have TI, Get one with TI" yet no one explains why. Simply cause is better is not explaining the difference. How much better is it would help for starters.

I'll just send them a message and ask. :)

The GTX 1050 is not bad, but thas outdated hardware. Nvidia recently updated it with the 1050Ti, which uses much more recent hardware and is much more powerful. Still, one with a GTX 1060 OC would also be neat. I also know the HP Omen laptops which are kinda the least expensive.

Stream processors are AMD's tech jargon.

The 1050 is by no means outdated. Its a completely new Pascal based card. Stop spreading wrong info. The 1050 and 1050Ti are meant for different price points.
